A day out with the GoPro

Funny how kids just follow in the foot steps of their father. No watching football or basketball on TV, or wanting to go shoot hoops at the local park. This is our local park. And this is what Gavin loves.
Nathan, Gavin, Todd and a friend, Tyler, went out Saturday and had some fun with Tyler’s GoPro camera.
This is a favorite photo of mine right now
Going right… totally focused
Dropping in, left
Will be as good as his dad someday… maybe even better.

The colors are a little funky, but here they are…
Gavin’s hair looks WHITE! I don’t think it was this blonde. And shortly after this photo he had me cut it shorter.

This past week Nathan and I were able to get away together while Grammy and Papa offered to take on the rowdy bunch.
Here are some highlights…
This was the view from our room. The pools were beautiful
Every night, the hotel had awesome entertainment. This night was a live band, circus acts, and fire dancing. The other nights had some real creative dance numbers.
Towards the end of the week, a swell filled in and we found a surf spot
The rocks of Cabo are amazing. We had to get a closer look
We had amazing luck driving from Cabo back to our hotel. We saw a sign for a public beach so we turned off to check it out. There was a group of locals gathering at the water’s edge. My thought was they were scattering their loved one’s ashes in to the sea or something. But Nathan’s Spanish came in handy when he asked someone nearby what was going on. We ended up getting to participate in a once in a lifetime thing. We lined up with the locals along the water’s edge and were handed our own baby sea turtle to release into the wild.
What a cool sight we witnessed
Until next time, we will miss you San Jose Del Cabo…

Still could be the umbilical cord right?
No, I’m so happy to be the mom of 4 boys.
