Refreshed!
What would you do with 24 hours at home without kids??? That was my dilemma last Friday. Nathan took both boys to Joshua Tree to camp with some guys in our ward and I was left all alone. Poor me!
Ya right!!!! I was in heaven. Ok... I'm not saying that it is heavenly without a husband or kids, I'm just saying that that opportunity doesn't come often that I'm home all alone for that long. What would you do, you mothers of young children? Well this is how I spent my 24 hours. I won't bore you with all the details but let's just say there was a little take-out, tivoed Oprah, swimming, biking to the beach, online scrap booking, shopping at favorite stores, mani/pedi and SLEEP (I went to bed at 3am the night before because I worked). When Nate got back he told me I looked refreshed. Thanks to a wonderful husband and father.

Sounds like a great idea. Where is he taking them next weekend?
Man, what I wouldn't give to be by myself. The past 5 months I have been doing the single mom thing and Garett is only home on the weekends. So I rarely get a break lately.
I love alone time too. And tivod Oprah is included in how I spend my alone time too.
